Initiation: The Roots Project Weekender

Facebook group is here https://tinyurl.com/initiationevent

Join us for a weekend packed with powerful ideas and global grooves and from around the world!

The Roots Project Big Weekender is an immersive launch weekend, designed to bring you into the world of 'Roots': an enterprise dedicated to bridging communities through the intercultural fusion of the arts, music, regenerative solutions and ancestral wisdom.

Our Vision is to plant seeds of change by providing platforms for earth imagineers, wisdom keepers, roots musicians, changemakers and creatives to be a part of a new template for conscious festivals in UK and beyond. We have both global and local presenters joining to seed a new way for Manchester as a hub city for more conscious events which initiate regenerative action.

If you wish to help be a catalyst and making this event happen then we are offering a limited amount of earlybird tickets to those who show commitment. Until July 31st Full weekend Tickets are £50 This includes entry to the special pre-festival changemakers activity on the Friday night (limited to 100). And Saturday and Sunday Tickets are £40. Please be advised these prices will rise to £75 for full Weekend and £60 for Saturday and Sunday. So if you believe there should be more events like this then show your support by commitment to the cause.

We have 5 concession spaces for low income people who know they simply must be there but are having difficulties finding the full amount and we have 4 payment plan places for people who are having cashflow issues at present. Please get in touch with tribe@therootsproject.com if you would like to be considered for one of these.

Our grassroots convergence for regenerative solutions invites you to dance, raise your vibrations, connect with like-minds and learn from indigenous cultures and ancient wisdom traditions! Our soundscape includes a skilled, diverse range of World music acts and Global Groove DJs weaving together a musical melting pot, providing an immersive experience and a tribal feast for the senses!

As well as hosting top DJs and artists throughout the weekend, we will be home to inspiring speakers, cacao ceremonies, educational talks, permaculture debate, networking forums, yoga, sound baths, breathwork, healing and much much more!

THE FOCUS

We will be celebrating the launch of our new website, in this, our first of many Galactivation events scheduled for the coming year. We are creating a space which encourages collaboration, thereby enabling positive action and facilitating discussion of high impact solutions based upon nature based design principles, all the while sending our vibrations through the roof!

Immerse yourself in the tribal wisdom that holds the solutions for personal and planetary renewal and join us in a solar eclipse celebration like no other!

WHY?

The Roots Project envisions a world united that works in harmony with the natural environment so that all may prosper, enabling both people and planet to thrive!!

We understand that real and simple solutions are readily available to resolve the complex challenges that humanity faces in today’s diverse landscape. Those solutions lie in integrating the knowledge from ancestral traditions with regenerative design principles.

Ancient wisdom, together with the modern Permaculture language, provides powerful tools for us to build communities in harmony with each other and in balance with the natural world. Permaculture is the design of an ecologically sound way of living - in our households, gardens, communities and businesses.

The principles of Permaculture are not limited to agricultural design but are universally applicable, which, when integrated into business models and social enterprise, allow for the creation of self-replicating and self-managing systems to repair and regenerate both the environment and communities worldwide!!

WHERE?

'INITIATION' is hosted by the Wonder Inn, Manchester.

The WONDER INN is a raw hidden gem, and a MASSIVE one at that! The old mill will be home to the Roots Project for the full weekend.
