The Kingdom tour sees Gorgon City returning to their underground roots. Having already turned their all-conquering brand of deep house into a successful, globe-trotting live show, the duo have decided that it’s time to take things back to basics, jettisoning the live band element to focus on a no frills approach that is all about the dancefloor – just the two of them and a set of decks. This has allowed them to bring back the precisely produced energy that made them so successful in the first place, with studio dubplates offering the kind of razor sharp drops that can energise any dancefloor, and surprise guests to keep the crowd on their toes.
