Social Media Business School - Strategy Lab for SMEs

This is a fun, half-day training course for small business owners who are looking to build a social media strategy. Our experts will guide you through the process of creating and delivering an effective campaign to attract new customers.

Here at the Social Media Business School, we don’t blind you with technical language, we explain and teach the practical skills you need to succeed.

Course Outline

To make our course easy to understand, it is broken down into modules which follow the subjects you know from your education: Art, Science, Law, Maths etc. Like all schools, there is even homework so you continue your development after leaving the classroom.

• Science: define your audience, create objectives, choose your social media platforms and learn top techniques, including mentions, hashtags and post frequency/timings.
• Art: paint a picture about your business by telling a story. Learn what to post, how to tailor content to platforms and find your tone of voice to build a following.
• Law: copyright (pictures and words) and libel.
• Geography: plot a course to success by building a content map using scheduling tools and software.
• Maths: monitor and improve your social media by reviewing performance stats.
• Homework: having created your strategy go away and manage your social media, check out the competition and discover what posts work best for your business…

Who should attend?

The Strategy Lab is designed for anyone who wants to make the most of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media channels. You don’t need to be an expert, the aim of the course is to create a strategy for you and your business.

Where and When?

All our courses are held at the offices of The Best Of Hertford and Ware in Hertford town centre. This course runs from 10am until 1pm on 12th September 2019. There will be open networking form 9:30am. The best place to park is Gascoyne Way car park.

How much?
