Oscar Bird ~ A plant nerd and farmer by day. Singer-songwriter, producer and visual effects artist by night: Combining nostalgic synthesised sounds with choral harmonies and modern production techniques, Oscar Bird strives to bring the best of the old and new together to create a unique sonic palette. He has developed an obsession with vocal harmony and reverb, this comes from being a choir member as a kid… In the studio, he always tries to recreate that same ‘dark magic’ moment of multiple voices cascading through a large space. His experience in 3d graphics and visual effects has been used to create music videos and artwork for his releases, creating a symbiotic relationship between the visual and audio manifestations of his inner world. This year (2022) he is releasing a large body of work composed in lockdown (or “The event that shall not be named”) and relentlessly gigging the south coast, this includes some charity projects such as the UK cancer research survivor’s day and for the Falklands 40th anniversary concert in Portsmouth.
Ben Sellers ~ Hampshire-based Ben Sellers has had a very busy last 12 months writing and recording material ready for his debut album, whilst crafting and refining his unique live sound.
